Troy-Bilt
In the 1960's, Lyman Wood changed the future of American gardening by founding the company that later became known as Garden-Way and developed its first product, the Troy-Bilt Rototiller. Garden-Way of Troy, NY, manufactured Troy-Bilt equipment. Garden-Way declared bankruptcy in 2001 and sold the Troy-Bilt and Bolens brands to MTD. Troy-Bilt products manufactured prior to 2001 have limited parts availability. MTD currently offers a full line of equipment marketed under the Troy-Bilt brand.

Keep extra chains. If you have a lot of firewood to cut or clearing to do, get some extra chains. It is very frustrating to have a weekend of work hindered by a dull saw. If you have extra chains, you can drop some off to get sharpened during the week and have several to use over the weekend.
