The Cylinder is the chamber within the engine where fuel is combusted and power is generated. Inside the cylinder, as the piston travels up and down from intake and exhaust, the motion allows the crankshaft to turn and power the operation of your equipment. Cylinders most often are damaged from overheating, where heat from friction, or the cooling system's failure to dissipate heat, can melt and warp the cylinder metal. Warped, pitted, or cracked cylinder heads should be addressed promptly.
