O-Rings can wear over time from abrasion, friction, improper lubrication, and high pressure. Your O-Ring may be damaged if the contact faces have a grazed surface, lacerations, and breaks. Because O-Rings must be the proper size to create a seal, we recommend O-Rings are purchased from the OEM/Manufacturer.
