The Motor is any machine that converts one or more forms of energy into mechanical energy. Motors include combustible engines, but may refer to any other source of mechanical energy on your equipment, such as electric motors, starter motors, or the small motor on an automatic feed trimmer head. Motors on our diagrams are perhaps most commonly referring to starter motors. Starter motors provide the initial crank to an engine to initiate the engine's operation under its own power.
